For perimenopause, menopause and everything in between

Not sleeping? Brain fog? Hot flushes at work? Not feeling like yourself? It's not just you.

You're not imagining it. The 3am wake-ups, the hot flush in the middle of a meeting, the word that was right there and then just… gone. Memopause helps you jot it all down in a minute a day, so when you finally get ten minutes with your GP, you don't have to remember everything on the spot.

Free GP report. No ads. Your diary stays on your phone.

Sound familiar?

If you've nodded at any of these, you're in good company.

You keep a fan in your handbag now.

You walk into rooms and forget why you're there.

Your periods have stopped making any sense.

You're snapping at people you love and can't say why.

You've typed "am I going mad" into Google at 2am.

Your GP asked "how long has this been going on?" and your mind went blank.

Memopause won't make any of it go away. It'll help you explain it.

How it works

A minute a day. A clearer appointment.

01 · LOG

Tap how today went

Score the things that bother you from 0 to 10, count the flushes, note any bleeding and tick off any medication. Done before the kettle boils.

02 · SEE

See what's really going on

Any symptom over 30 days to six months, with your periods and any treatment changes marked, so the good days and bad days start to make sense.

03 · SHARE

Walk in with the facts

Print, save or share a one-page report for your GP: averages, peaks, cycle history, treatment, bloods and your notes. Free, always.

For the whole stretch

From the first odd cycle to years after the last.

Tell Memopause where you are and it shapes itself around you. Change it any time.

Perimenopause

Periods changing

Cycle lengths, bleeding and the symptoms that come and go around them, with the variation laid out plainly.

Menopause and after

Periods stopped

Symptoms, sleep and treatment take the front. If you log any bleeding, even spotting, Memopause reminds you it's worth getting checked by your GP.

Surgical or not sure

Any route in

After a hysterectomy or oophorectomy, on contraception that hides your cycle, or simply unsure where you are: just log how you feel.

The app

Everything for the appointment, nothing in the way.

See how your treatment is going, in your own numbers

Add HRT or any other medication with its dose. Memopause marks every start and dose change on your chart and lines up the four weeks before against the four weeks after, so you and your GP can look at the same numbers.

  • Dose history for gels, patches, tablets, sprays and coils
  • Before and after averages for every symptom you log
  • A record to talk through, never advice on what to take

A cycle view built for irregular cycles

Period starts are picked up from the bleeding you log. You see the last period, days since, average length and the recent range, plus a plain note when the variation is the kind often seen in perimenopause. It describes; it doesn't diagnose.

Bloods, appointments and check-ins in one place

Keep blood results with their units and ranges, every appointment and test, and a monthly check-in using the Greene Climacteric Scale, a questionnaire clinicians recognise. It all flows into your report.

Private by design

Your diary lives on your phone, not on our servers. There's no account to make, nothing to sell and no advertising trackers watching what you log.

  • Data stays on your device
  • Back up, export to a spreadsheet or delete everything whenever you like
  • No ads, ever. Made in the UK, under UK data protection law

Built in the open, one step at a time.

The tracker and GP report come first. Waiting-list members hear about each of these as they arrive.

Questions

The short answers.

Is it free?

Yes. Logging, trends and the GP report will be free. We may add an optional paid tier later for extras, but the tracker and the report stay free.

Does Memopause give medical advice?

No. Memopause is a symptom diary. It records what you tell it and summarises it, but it doesn't diagnose anything or recommend treatment. Talk to your GP, nurse or pharmacist about your symptoms and any treatment.

Where is my data kept?

On your own device. Your diary isn't sent to us. If we add sync later it will be optional and encrypted so that only you can read it. The waiting list only stores your email address.

Do I need to know if I'm in perimenopause?

No. Pick "not sure" and start logging. Plenty of people start a diary precisely because they want a clearer picture to take to their GP.

Which phones does it work on?

Any recent iPhone or Android phone, and computers too. It runs in your browser and you can add it to your home screen like an app. App Store and Google Play versions are planned.

Why "Memopause"?

Memo, as in the notes you take to your appointment. And yes, a small nod to brain fog.
